Valentines are a friendly, first opinion, two branch practice, with a relaxed working environment, looking to welcome a Small Animal Vet to join our team at our Castleton Branch, nestled to the North East of Manchester, with the backdrop of the Pennines and Peak District National Park nearby.
We have exciting plans for this year, with renovations and a new design for our Castleton Branch well under way and due to complete summer 2023.
We are an established, friendly Veterinary Practice in the centre of Castleton, Greater Manchester. Located just 4 minutes off the M62/M60 motorway network, with great transport links to Manchester and surrounding areas, Castleton train station is just 5 mins walk from the Practice, and with the train to Manchester taking only 14 minutes, and running at 30 minute intervals, the city centre is within easy reach. We boast a very outgoing, capable, and co-operative team with low staff turnover as testament to this. We are moving the practice forward and have renovations well under way.
We seek for a relatively experienced, progressive, and friendly Veterinary Surgeon, who can communicate well with both our team and valued clients. We value the opinions of our whole team, and the right candidate will have the desire to be involved in our development and growth. Our client base is loyal and longstanding because Valentine’s have an excellent reputation that has been largely built on recommendations.
Equipment and facilities, including x-ray, laboratory, ultrasound and dental, are on site and we have established relationships with a large range of local referral practices when required.
What we offer:
- Salary up to £75,000 pro rata – dependent upon experience
- Full or part-time position, Flexible hours – all considered
- No OOHs.
- 6pm finish time Monday – Friday
- Some Saturday mornings available (9.30am-12pm) with flexible rota
- Only occasional sole charge
